Compliance and Community

Compliance in heavy haulage, crane hire and heavy rentals

We invest in good equipment and good employees

The health and safety of all persons and the long term protection and sustainability of our environment are not just policies we have on the wall. It’s a mantra we follow every day of the week. We not only invest in good equipment, but invest in good employees.
We conduct competency assessments at pre-employment for all new employees and have a continuous monitoring program in place to ensure that skill sets are updated and maintained. Route surveys and risk assessment are conducted for all our major loads as well as lift plans and lift plan analysis conducted for our lifts. Our crane supervisors use BricsCAD software to produce an easy to understand assessment of the lift for both operators and customers. All management, from the director to allocators, regularly go to site and conduct inspections to ensure our workers are practising what we preach.

Responsible heavy haulage, crane hire and heavy rentals

Instilled in our team members is a sense of responsibility not only to the company but for the broader community.  To meet compliance with fitness for duty we operate within the requirements of basic fatigue management under the National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Scheme (NHVAS) and included on top of this is regular drug and alcohol testing for all employees.  The NQ Group has a ZERO tolerance policy.
Our state-of-the-art GPS monitoring equipment is maintained and serviced as per the requirements of the NHVAS maintenance management guidelines and regular internal and third party audits are conducted to ensure continued compliance.
As a turnkey logistics provider, we acknowledge that large amounts of C0² gases are emitted into the environment through vehicle movement.  NQ Group is committed to ensuring that our entire fleet of heavy haulage, crane hire, heavy rentals and other equipment are modern and up to date.  We also service and maintain our fleet of trucks, cranes and cars to the highest standards not only for optimum efficiency but to ensure the safety of our personnel and the public.
We are committed to fair and ethical trade and acknowledge our part in the supply chain ensuring we meet all our legal obligations.  We have a responsibility to our customers and their customers to deliver safely, on time, every time.
